From the Chief Nursing Executive
At the very heart of the Memorial Hermann experience is our extraordinary nursing staff, consistently recognized for excellence, including Magnet® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Magnet® recognition is a reflection of nursing professionalism, teamwork and excellence in patient care.
As we celebrate our accomplishments, we recognize that our profession cannot stand still, so we are implementing several initiatives to support our threefold Enterprise Nursing Strategic Pillar: Grow, Excel, Reimagine. Among those are the creation of our Memorial Hermann Institute for Nursing Excellence, launching the innovative health care-focused HEAL High School (Health Education and Learning High School) with Aldine ISD to prepare and connect students to health care careers, and development of our System Professional Governance Congress.
