Effective June 30, 2020, Memorial Hermann Health System and The University of Texas and MD Anderson Cancer Center dissolved their breast imaging partnership. While Memorial Hermann’s breast care facilities remain open and operate as usual, MD Anderson no longer interprets breast radiology exams at Memorial Hermann Breast Care Centers. All breast care facilities previously named MD Anderson Breast Care with Memorial Hermann, have been re-branded as Memorial Hermann Breast Care Centers.
This transition will not disrupt patients’ access to breast imaging services through Memorial Hermann. We have partnered with fellowship-trained, board-certified breast radiologists from Synergy Radiology Associates, Radiology Partners, and UTHealth, to interpret screening or diagnostic images, perform biopsies, and consult with patients and physicians as needed.
