CNO Introduction

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center opened its doors in 1985. We are located in the heart of a large, nationally recognized master-planned community that has award-winning schools and popular amenities close at hand. The entire area around south Montgomery County is rapidly growing and attracting employers, developers, families and visitors alike.

Memorial Hermann the Woodlands Magnet Designated in 2010, 2015, 2020In 2010, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center became Montgomery County's first facility granted Magnet® recognition for its excellence in nursing. Until late 2022, we were the only Magnet-recognized hospital in the county. The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) grants Magnet, the most prestigious recognition and one of the highest honors for which a hospital can be recognized, to facilities that demonstrate their commitment to nursing by providing high quality of care to their patients and communities. We furthered our commitment to excellence by earning Magnet re-designation in 2015 and 2020. In fall 2024, we are headed toward our third ANCC Magnet re-designation. I invite you to join us as we Reach 4 the Stars together!

To engage and support our frontline caregivers, we are embracing the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's Transforming Care at the Bedside (TCAB), to identify and implement change that will improve the quality of care and bring our caregivers back to the bedside. In 2007, we implemented this model of care and have seen our staff engaged in creating innovations which have improved patient, physician and staff satisfaction. Our culture promotes learning, evidence-based practice and recognition of excellence at all levels.

I welcome you to explore employment opportunities and become a part of our wonderful team!
