When emergencies arise, Memorial Hermann Katy’s Emergency Room offers services 24/7. Our Chest Pain Center is fully accredited to provide fast, effective treatment for heart attack patients, and separate minor care and acute trauma areas ensure that efficient care is available when you need it.
Memorial Hermann Katy ER - A Level III Trauma Center
Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital is a designated Level III Trauma Center with the ability to provide advanced trauma life support, evaluation, stabilization and diagnostic services. If the situation demands, transfer agreements and protocols allow patients to be transferred quickly to a higher level of care within Memorial Hermann's network of trauma centers.
Having an integrated and comprehensive network of trauma centers allows Memorial Hermann staff throughout the city to work in unison, no matter the location or needs of a patient. At any Memorial Hermann Emergency Room, a patient benefits from the knowledge of a large network of physicians and nurses trained in emergency medicine as well as the years of experience Memorial Hermann has accumulated as Houston’s emergency care leader.
If the need arises, patients are seamlessly transferred to the appropriate facility by ambulance or by Memorial Hermann’s own Life Flight®.

- Three pediatric-focused emergency rooms equipped and ready to treat your family. Featuring board-certified physicians, pedi equipment, pedi decorated exam rooms and a separate pedi waiting area.
- The services of a trained Child Life Specialist to provide emotional support for children related to illness, injury and hospitalization.
- If required, children can be admitted to one of the private rooms in the pediatric unit on the third floor of Memorial Hermann Katy.

Just 30 miles west of Houston in Katy, the ER at Memorial Hermann Katy is conveniently located on the north side of Interstate 10 just west of Grand Parkway. Take the Grand Parkway exit to access the hospital. Parking is free for the hospital and professional buildings. Follow the signs to the Emergency Room.
