Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center has once again earned the distinction as one of America's Best Hospitals for 2013-14 by U.S. News & World Report. The annual U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 24th year, recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most challenging patients.

Ranked number four in the Houston metro area and seventh overall in the state, Memorial Hermann-TMC is home to 11 specialized institutes and centers, including Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, which is also nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report's 2013-14 Best Children's Hospitals Survey.

Memorial Hermann-TMC also is recognized among the Best Hospitals in the Gulf Coast (TX), is nationally ranked in the specialty of Nephrology for the fourth consecutive year, and receives top marks as "high-performing" in the areas of Cancer, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Pulmonology, and Urology.
