THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 09, 2017)

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital is pleased to announce that Cheryl Brady and Tiffany McClung will serve a two-year term as co-chairs of the Memorial Hermann In the Pink of Health Committee (ITP).

Brady and McClung have both served on the committee for the past two years and are already preparing for this year’s festivities, including the luncheon – the committee’s headline event that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually – and other community fundraising initiatives that support free mammograms; cancer education; Canopy, Memorial Hermann’s free cancer survivorship center; and more.

Brady and her husband, John, have lived in The Woodlands for 10 years with their two children. She is a CPA with an accounting degree from Texas A&M University. While not currently practicing, she was previously employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. with a specialty in auditing oil & gas companies. In addition to her work with ITP, Brady has served in board positions for the National Charity League, The Academy of Science & Technology, College Park High School Golf Team, Coulson Tough PTO, and as a member of National Charity Roundtable.

McClung and her husband, Justin, have lived in The Woodlands for 16 years with their two children. She currently works in client relations with their real estate company, The McClung Group. Also a graduate of Texas A&M University, McClung earned a degree in Business Management and had a long career in technology and medical sales. She has served on the host committee for the Montgomery County Food Bank Gala and on the Galatas PTO for the past five years.

“We are honored to serve as co-chairs of this very passionate committee,” said Brady and McClung. “Caring for those touched by cancer is a very personal cause for all of us. That, coupled with the fact that all the funds raised stay in our area, makes it especially rewarding. We look forward to continuing the work of those before us by supporting our neighbors, family and friends who are battling this devastating disease.”Founded in 2001, In the Pink of Health has raised nearly $5 million through the annual luncheon and ancillary programs like Pink Pals, a community fundraising program that enables individuals or groups to join the fight against breast and ovarian cancer in their own way. The money has been reinvested into Montgomery County to fund cutting-edge technology, programs and services for breast and ovarian cancer patients and survivors, and most recently to open Canopy, a free survivorship center for all cancer survivors.
