The Fetal Center at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, affiliated with the physicians at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, is a national leader in fetal diagnosis, fetal intervention and comprehensive fetal care for babies with congenital anomalies or genetic abnormalities. A national referring center, The Fetal Center offers patients a complete range of prenatal testing and fetal interventions with a coordinated program for mother and child before, during and after birth.

Experts in the field of maternal-fetal medicine, our affiliated physicians are actively pursuing and participating in the research and development of therapeutic prenatal interventions aimed to improve patient outcomes. The Fetal Center is a national leader in research studies, being one of only eight national centers to be included in the NICHD Network, and serves as a member of the North American Fetal Therapy Network (NAFTNet). Baby Luke's Battle With CDH
When Megan and Ryan Webb were expecting identical twins, Jayden and Luke, they learned that Luke was diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and visited Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital for prenatal and postnatal care.
