Pediatric Surgery in Houston, TX
The medical staff pediatric general surgeons affiliated with Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital evaluate and treat conditions in infants, children and adolescents, including groin hernias, appendicitis, pyloric stenosis, umbilical hernia, and gastroesophageal reflux. Many of these procedures are done using minimally invasive surgical practices.
We also routinely treat less common conditions, including intestinal atresias, omphalocele, Hirschsprung's disease, imperforate anus, cancer in children, abnormalities of the female reproductive system and chest problems such as pectus excavatum, among other disorders. Many of these problems are diagnosed during pregnancy through Children's Memorial Hermann's maternal-fetal medicine program.
