The Texas Fetal Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday, except major holidays).
The UT Professional Building parking garage is located at 6414 Fannin. Cost rages from $5.00-$10.00 and is subject to change. Valet parking is also available.

What if I have an urgent medical need during business hours? What about after business hours?

If you have an urgent medical need during business hours, please call (832) 325-7288 and a triage nurse will assess your medical need. If medically necessary, you will be worked into a physician's schedule the same day.
For after hours care, Please call (832) 325-7288 to reach the physician on-call.
In case of emergency, please call 911 or go immediately to the nearest hospital emergency room.  

What about insurance, payment and billing? Is the center a preferred provider for my managed care plan?

The Texas Fetal Center is a preferred provider for most managed care plans. We will verify your insurance coverage prior to your office visit.
We accept all major credit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. If you do not have medical insurance, payment in full is expected at the time of the visit.

What if I have a routine request or want to speak to a nurse?

If you have an routine request, please call (832) 325-7288 to speak with a nurse. The nurse will relay information to your physician. Calls for routine requests are returned within 24 hours. Requests for urgent medical care are returned the same day.

How do I refill a prescription?

For prescription refills, please call your pharmacy.

What if my insurance plan requires a referral for specialty care?

Your insurance plan may require referral paperwork or other authorization for visits to specialists. Please contact your primary care physician or insurance company for more information.

Do you have services to accommodate the special needs of international patients?

The Texas Fetal Center and the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System welcome international patients and understand the challenges they face when traveling from distant parts of the world to receive medical care. International services are designed to help patients and their families feel as comfortable as possible. Services provided include:
