Houstonia Magazine recognizes Memorial Hermann Physicians as Houstons Top Doctors

Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, along with our partners across the Memorial Hermann System, are proud of the numerous physicians who practice at our hospitals and were recently recognized by their peers in Houstonia magazine’s inaugural Best Doctors issue. The guide names over 150 Memorial Hermann-affiliated physicians across 50 different specialties as being the best in their field.
The cover of the magazine features Carlos A. Moreno, M.D., family physician at Memorial Hermann-TMC and chairman of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UTHealth Medical School. Several of our physicians were honored with features in the magazine, including Dong Kim, M.D., director of the Mischer Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Hermann-TMC and chairman of UTHealth’s Vivian L. Smith Department of Neurosurgery, as well as Gerard Francisco, M.D., chief medical officer at TIRR Memorial Hermann and chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UTHealth. Also highlighted in an illustrated guide to the Texas Medical Center was renowned trauma surgeon James “Red” Duke Jr., M.D., medical director and founder of Memorial Hermann Life Flight and the John B. Holmes Professor and Chief of Surgery at UTHealth Medical School.
