About the Children's ER
The Children's ER is a certified Level I pediatric trauma center, providing the highest level of trauma care available. As one of only two Level I pediatric trauma centers caring for children in the Texas Gulf Coast region, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital provides 24-hour care to over 18,000 children in emergency situations each year.
Seven beds are dedicated to pediatrics, and the ER has separate pediatric waiting and triage areas. Beautifully decorated to match the child-friendly motif throughout the hospital, the ER at Children's Memorial Hermann features whimsical nature characters that help make children feel at ease.
