Researchers are assessing whether injections of 3 doses of the cytomegalovirus gB/MF59 vaccine will reduce the incidence of a systemic cytomegalovirus infection in healthy adolescent females.

GI Shedding of Human Influenza Virus in Hospitalized Children

Principal Investigator: Susan Wootton, M.D.

This study compares viral shedding patterns (viruses shed from the nose, blood and stool) in children hospitalized with influenza who present with gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea to hospitalized children with influenza who do not develop vomiting and diarrhea.
